Who processes your data

What we collect

When you request a tour, we ask for:

• —your first and last name
• —your email address
• —your phone number
• —the tour, date, time, language and number of people
• —any notes you choose to add yourself

About your payment

Payment runs through Mollie. Your bank, debit or credit card details never reach us: you enter them with Mollie and they stay there. All we see is whether a payment succeeded, for how much, and when.

What we use it for

We use your data for four things:

• —handling your booking and contacting you about it
• —scheduling the tour in the calendar
• —keeping the invoice, because Dutch tax law requires it
• —one invitation to leave a review, the day after your tour

On what legal basis

For the first two, performance of the contract we enter into with you. For the invoice, a legal obligation. The review invitation is sent on the basis of legitimate interest — you can object to it, and then we stop sending it.

How long we keep it

Anything that belongs in the accounts is kept for seven years. That is the retention period Dutch tax law requires and we cannot shorten it.

Requests that never became a booking are deleted within a year.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it on for advertising. We do use a number of services that process your data on our behalf:

• —Google (Firebase and Calendar) — storing bookings and the schedule
• —Mollie — the payment
• —Resend — sending emails
• —Vercel — running the website

Data outside Europe

Some of these companies are American and may process data outside the European Union. That happens under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies

This site uses no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies. There is exactly one: a small cookie that remembers whether you view the site in Dutch or English. It contains no personal data and needs no consent. That is why you will not see a cookie banner here.

Your rights

You may at any time:

• —ask what data we hold about you
• —have it corrected if something is wrong
• —have it deleted, except what we are legally required to keep
• —object to how it is used
• —request it in a readable file to take elsewhere

Questions or a complaint

Send an email to ronniewalkertours@gmail.com. We reply within a month.

If we cannot sort it out together, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Security

The website runs entirely over a secure connection. Access to the booking overview is password-protected and only Ronnie has that password.

Changes

If anything changes in this policy, we update the date at the top. The version that applies is the one that was on the site when you booked.
